People often Dread the thought of (Split-Testing), when it comes to promoting their website.
The truth is, (Split-Testing) ad campaigns doesn’t have to be such a daunting task…
and by implementing efficient split-testing techniques, your website will get better rankings and earn more money, in the long run!!
Applying efficient Split-Testing techniques and strategies, will help turn your site into a Streamlined, Revenue-Generating…thing of beauty!!
Here’s how I go about it…
Once I have my New Niche Website in place, and I’m at the (90) day mark, the time that it takes to get some credibility and exposure (rankings), from the search engines…
and ‘have created a substantial amount of (high-quality) content…I begin promoting my site trough several (Paid-Traffic) sources.
(PPC) advertising…
Chief among these, is (PPC)/(pay-per-click) advertising.
For those of you who don’t know what (PPC) is or how it works…
(PPC) stands for (Pay-Per-Click) advertising. This is where you’re charged a specific amount of money when someone clicks on a particular (ad) that you have in place, which is associated with a specific (keyword-price).
(Google-Adwords) is the most widely used and the most expensive (PPC) platform in existence, today.
Although Google Adwords is the best (PPC) platform in existence, it can also be Very Expensive, for any Niche that gets a substantial amount of global search traffic
For a cheaper option there are several very good (2ND) tier (PPC) platforms that you can turn to…
(7search.com), is my preferred choice here…
I generally run (2) different, simultaneous (ad-campaigns) on (7Search)…
I make sure that I assign different tracking I.d.’s, to each campaign…so I can track specific results within the data.
Namely, which (ad-campaigns) are converting and which campaigns are not.
I then (A/B) split-test those campaigns, against one another, looking to isolate and (Scale-Up) the most successful campaigns, while deleting the others.
I typically have a budget set of ($25) per-day, for (7) days, for each campaign…
I then set a daily budget of ($50) for the most Successful of the (2) Campaigns and let it run for an additional (7-14) days…
I try to repeat this process every (90) days!!
This Generates some really valuable data, regarding a particular campaigns performance…not to mention (Revenue)

A word about which (Keywords) to Target!!
When creating my (PPC) campaigns, I try to Target (low-competition) keywords, which have a much (lower-cost) associated with them…
which in turn, will stretch-out my (daily-advertising) budget!!

How to leverage (Solo-ads)…
The next way I promote my website, is by running (Solo-ad) e-mail advertising campaigns…
I personally use (10 dollar solo ads)…
I prefer the ($20) Solo Ad option. This option gives you…
(3000) New Prospects, Mailed Every Week…(12,000) Unique Prospects per month.
It features Real-Time Click Tracking, Targeting Categories, Campaign Geotargeting, Set it and forget it option and Professional ad writing!!
If you would rather write your own ad for your campaign, you can…this is the option I prefer.
I typically run (3) different ads at (10 Dollar Solo Ads)…(Scaling-up) the successful campaigns, while deleting the others.
Don’t underestimate this promotional method. I generate well over ($1500+) dollars per month, per Niche Website, by using this strategy…alone!!
Leveraging the Power of YouTube
Next, I turn my focus to promoting my affiliate landing-pages on YouTube…
I prefer to make my own customized videos at (Animoto.com.) and upload those customized videos to YouTube…
I’ve found, through my own Split Testing, that this type of video content, tends to convert very well.
Setting up your Animoto account…
Simply, go to Animoto.com, create a Free-Account and go through the step-by-step process of creating a Free, (30) second promotional video for your affiliate landing page URL(s), set to your choice of background music!!
You also have Paid Options with Animoto!!
I do the same thing here…
I create (2) different Videos, promoting my desired landing page URL’s and Split Test those results…
Keeping and (scaling-up) the more successful campaign, while split testing the remaining video against a third video and so on…
I then, Upload these videos to YouTube and earn steady commissions, through this video content.
I use, virtually, the same (A/B) split-testing techniques here…
However, I’ll keep all of the Campaigns going, as it won’t cost me any additional money to do so…(unlimited videos in monthly membership fee, (Animoto), which is ($40)mo.
Well worth the small investment, for the potential upside!!
Using Ad Agencies…
Finally, I promote my affiliate-landing pages through Ad agencies…I personally use (USFreeads) for this.
USFreeads cost ($9.99) per month and you will be getting some really decent-exposure here!!
I then, Split-Test a minimum of (3) different ads and again (scale-up) the ad that is converting at the highest percentage and deep six the other two…
So now, we have covered, (4) Paid promotional methods, in which I use the efficient (Split-Testing) techniques…
to determine which Campaigns, I should be (Scaling-Up)…and which Campaigns I should be discarding, altogether…
